Souk (Souq) to nasze krakowskie Sukiennice – czyli tradycyjny
targ. Pierwotnie były one dzielone na sekcje segregujące różne rodzajów
produktów. Dlatego też mamy osobny souk złota, tkanin czy przypraw. W Emiratach
wciąż powstają nowe, stylizowane souki, najczęściej jako odrębna część galerii
handlowych. Obecnie są one jednak odwiedzane głównie przez turystów.
Souk (Souq)
is our Cracovian Sukiennice – a traditional market. Originally, they were
divided into sections segregating different types of products. Therefore, we separate
the gold, textile or spice souk. In the UAE stylized souks are still being
built, usually as an individual part of the shopping malls. Today, however,
they are mostly visited by tourists.
